How to Use

For Puttu:

  1. Mix steamed flour with a pinch of salt.

  2. Sprinkle warm water and mix until crumbly.

  3. Add to puttu maker with layers of coconut.

  4. Steam for 5–7 minutes until cooked.

For String Hoppers:

  1. Mix flour with hot water and salt.

  2. Knead into a soft dough.

  3. Press through a string hopper mold onto mats.

  4. Steam for 5–8 minutes.

For General Use:
Use as a base flour for steamed foods, breakfast dishes, or traditional rice cake preparations.
